Banana Chocolate Chip Protein Muffins

I’m always looking for healthy snacks that my kids will actually eat. This recipe is easy to pull together and make it both healthy and fun.

Ingredients:

  • Banana quick bread/muffin mix (I used Aldi)
  • 2 scoops vanilla protein powder
  • 1/4 cup hemp seeds
  • A few chocolate chips for the bottom and tops of muffins
  • Use butter instead of oil

Directions:

Follow directions of muffin mix besides substituting butter for oil. Add in protein powder and hemp seeds and mix well.

Prepare muffin tin and put a few chocolate chips on the bottom for a “surprise” if you’d like. Fill the cups and add a couple more chocolate chips to the top – so the kids will be happy to eat them!

Bake as directed and enjoy!
