Apple Pie Protein Shake

Fall is the perfect time to add some fun fall flavors to your meals in a healthy way!

Here is the recipe for an apple pie protein shake.

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz of water, milk, or yogurt
  • 2 scoops of vanilla flavored protein powder
  • 1 apple, core removed and sliced into wedges
  • 1 cup of spinach
  • 2 tbs of almonds
  • 1/4 cup of uncooked oats
  • Ice as needed
  • Cinnamon to taste

Combine ingredients in a blender and blend until combined.

This recipe would be considered more of a meal replacement considering the macros. However, you can omit the oats and nuts and use just one scoop of the protein powder to make it more of a snack.

Nutrition info: 535 calories, 58g protein, 13g fat, 46g carbs, 9g of fiber. Note that this accounts as water for the liquid instead of milk or yogurt.
